A Collection of Decorative Ceramic Cabinet and Dinner Plates
Description
A collection of decorative ceramic cabinet and dinner plates featuring various motifs and edge treatments. The uppermost plate is decorated with a transfer-printed nature scene depicting two rabbits amongst bluebells and primroses, set within a scalloped and relief-moulded rim. The stack further includes a plate with a wide gilded wavy rim, a floral border plate with pink roses, a green-rimmed plate with a gold inner band, and a cream-coloured plate with a reticulated pierced lattice border and yellow outer rim. A white rectangular adhesive label on the top plate is printed with SHELBYS AUCTIONEERS, LOT 357, and barcode 01132002026; a smaller white label to the left is handwritten with 12847 A. No manufacturer marks are visible to the faces of the plates.
