An Enfield Art Deco Mahogany-Veneered Westminster Chime Mantel Clock for Henry Lee and Sons Ltd
Description
An English Art Deco mantel clock featuring a mahogany-veneered Napoleon hat case with stepped side supports. The circular silvered dial is set with black Roman numerals and three winding holes, indicating a three-train Westminster chime movement. It is fitted with black moon-tipped hands and protected by a hinged glass door within a metal bezel. The dial is printed at the twelve o’clock position with the name ENFIELD. Along the bottom curve of the dial, the text reads HENRY LEE & SONS LTD and MADE IN ENGLAND is printed below the six o’clock position. The case displays two adhesive labels: a white circular sticker printed 12850 and a rectangular white label for SHELBYS AUCTIONEERS reading LOT 318.
