A Collection of Matte-Finished Bisque Porcelain Figurines
Description
A collection of matte-finished bisque porcelain figurines depicting various child characters in sentimental and celebratory poses. The assortment includes a larger figure of a girl in a floral-adorned veil and tiered dress holding a bouquet, a girl in a white dress with orange shoes carrying a large teddy bear, and a baby resting in a cradle on a circular base with a single detached shoe. Also included are a pair of children resting on a textured circular base and several smaller standing figurines in assorted outfits. The figures are characterised by oversized heads and distinctive teardrop-shaped eyes. A white rectangular adhesive label on the side of the baby cradle base reads SHELBY’S AUCTIONEERS LOT 296 with barcode 01122000296. A similar label is attached to the textured circular base. The base of the figurine carrying a teddy bear features a small white adhesive sticker with the handwritten numbers 15867 1.5. One standing figurine holds a heart-shaped object featuring printed text reading I love you, and another has a small paper tag attached to its arm, though the text is not legible.
