A Collection of Ceramic Tablewares and Household Objects Including Pitchers and a Hand Fork
Description
An assortment of miscellaneous ceramic tablewares and household objects. The collection includes a white ceramic pitcher featuring a hand-painted olive branch motif with green leaves and black olives, a terracotta-coloured fluted rim, and hand-painted Greek characters reading ΜΟΛΥΒΙ. Also included is a pitcher decorated with hand-painted red tulips and green foliage, and a bright green glazed ceramic vessel containing a miniature metal vehicle chassis. The group is completed by a blue-rimmed jug, an egg cup with floral decoration, a ceramic bowl with colourful enamelled patterns and a pierced rim, and various floral-patterned and lattice-edge ceramic dishes. A brass-toned metal hand fork is laid over the items. Apart from the hand-painted characters ΜΟΛΥΒΙ on one pitcher, no other legible maker marks, stamps, or labels are visible.
