A Collection of Assorted Pressed, Cut, and Etched Glassware
Description
A collection of various glassware items featuring a range of decorative styles and forms. The group includes several pressed glass bowls and cups with repeating diamond and geometric patterns. Also present is a large clear glass jar with etched foliate and leaf motifs around the exterior. The selection of stemware features clear glass examples as well as a group with amber-coloured stems and feet; these pieces are further embellished with gilded rims and etched floral bands. A white adhesive label is fixed to the rim of the storage bin bearing the printed text SHELBY’S AUCTIONEERS LOT 271. No maker marks or other manufacturer labels are visible on the individual pieces.
