Description
A philatelic collection comprising multiple album pages of international postage stamps, featuring issues from East Germany (DDR) and Australia. The East German section includes definitive portrait series and commemorative stamps, with handwritten dates in pencil reading 1959 and 1961. One large-format green commemorative stamp bears a legible circular black ink cancellation mark reading EISENHÜTTENSTADT 122 14.3. The Australian portion of the collection features thematic issues depicting local fauna, including birds and marine life. Legible printed text on these examples includes AUSTRALIA, 25c AZURE KINGFISHER, 33c LEAFY SEA DRAGON, and 85c REGAL ANGELFISH. The collection contains both mint and postally used examples. The stamps are mounted behind translucent glassine interleaving strips within white album pages.
