AR 1982 Malvinas Postal Covers and DE Third Reich Stamps Collection
Description
An assortment of philatelic material and postal history housed in three binders. The lot features a collection of Argentine (AR) postal covers from 1982 related to the Malvinas conflict. Included are cacheted covers with maps of the territory and Buenos Aires circular date stamps (CDS). A First Day Cover (FDC) dated 2 June 1982 is present, inscribed DIA DE EMISION – ARGENTINA with a 5000 Pesos commemorative issue. Another cover is addressed to Sr. JEFE DE CORREOS 9409 Islas Malvinas, postmarked 22 April 1982. The collection also contains an open stockbook of German (DE) stamps, including Third Reich era definitives and a Saarland SAARPOST 10 issue. Stamps are perforated and presented on stock pages or within protective plastic sleeves.
