Hornby Railways Limited Edition OO Gauge L.M.S. Princess Class Lady Patricia Locomotive and Tender
Description
A Hornby Hobbies Limited OO-gauge model steam locomotive and tender, representing the L.M.S. Princess Class Lady Patricia. The model is finished in L.M.S. Crimson Lake livery (1933-1946) and features the running number 6210. Constructed from die-cast metal and plastic components, the locomotive carries a nameplate above the driving wheels reading LADY PATRICIA and the cab side is marked with the number 6210 in gold-tone characters. The tender sides are marked with the letters L M S in gold-tone serif characters. This model is part of a limited production run of 1,000 units and is accompanied by the original paper certificate, number 910, signed by Simon Kohler, Marketing Manager of Hornby Hobbies Limited. The item is housed in its original red Hornby Railways window box which includes the internal clear plastic protective insert and a gold circular label stating Limited Edition and FOR ADULT COLLECTORS. A white auction lot sticker from Shelby’s Auctioneers marked LOT 183 is present on the front of the plastic insert.
