Leonard Campbell Taylor Large Framed Colour Print
Description
A large-scale colour print after Leonard Campbell Taylor (1874-1969), depicting a domestic interior scene with two women and a virginal. The composition features a woman in a voluminous green gown at a keyboard instrument, accompanied by a figure in a yellow shawl. The background includes a framed Madonna and Child painting and an ornate cabinet. The print is plate-signed in the lower right corner. It is housed in a substantial Victorian-style gilded wood and gesso frame with elaborate foliate and floral scrolling motifs. The work is set behind glass with a cream mount. Two adhesive labels are attached to the right side of the mount, one printed with the number 144 and the other marked £ 50.
