Description
An 18th-century style oak Welsh dresser comprising a two-part construction. The upper section features a three-tier plate rack with vertical slats, flanked by two small fall-front cupboards that open to reveal interior pigeonholes. The lower base section is fitted with three drawers, each accented with crossbanded borders and equipped with brass swan-neck handles on oval backplates and circular brass escutcheons. The unit is supported by turned front legs and square-section rear legs. The primary material is oak. No maker’s marks, labels, or stamps are present.
