This group includes circular plates, a hexagonal vase, and a small spherical pot. The Manchu pattern items feature blue and white transfer-printed oriental-style landscapes and floral motifs, comprising a faceted jug, a rectangular lidded box, a cylindrical lidded pot, and a lidded ginger jar. Also included is a boxed blue and white transfer-printed calendar plate for the year 1983, featuring an illustration of York Minster. The pieces bear the Mason’s crown emblem backstamp with various inscriptions including Patent Ironstone, Ironstone Made in England, and the specific pattern names Mandalay and Manchu. Some items also feature the text Printed and Hand Painted and red hand-painted numerals.
