Description

A late 19th-century German wall-mounted regulator clock in the Vienna style, manufactured by Lenzkirch. The architectural case is constructed from walnut and features a pediment surmounted by multiple turned finials and a central shell-carved crest. The case is flanked by fluted side columns and terminates in a shaped base with further turned finials. The circular white enamel dial is printed with the maker name LENZKIRCH in an arc and A. G. U. below the centre. It features black Roman numeral hour markers, an outer minute track, and two winding holes. The mechanical weight-driven movement includes a strike function. The clock is accompanied by two brass-cased weights and a pendulum with a brass bob.
