A Group of Nineteenth Century and Later Wooden Boxes and a Pair of Children's Boots
Description
A group of items comprising a large rectangular wooden box, a smaller hinged wooden box, and a pair of children’s boots. The large box is constructed from a dark-toned wood with a brass escutcheon to the lid and a keyhole to the front. It bears a small white paper label printed with the numerals 7, 6, 2, 7. The smaller wooden box is of hinged construction, opening to reveal a purple velvet-lined interior with several internal partitions. Accompanying these is a pair of vintage brown leather lace-up children’s boots.
