Description
A set of fine bone china tea wares manufactured by Paragon in the Country Lane pattern. The collection includes multiple footed tea cups and matching saucers. The decoration consists of transfer-printed British wildflower sprays, featuring honeysuckle, pansies, and violets in a palette of pink, yellow, blue, and purple against a white ground. Each piece is finished with a gilded rim and additional gilt accents to the handles and pedestal bases. The underside of the pieces bears a printed manufacturer mark in gold and reddish-pink, including the Royal Coat of Arms and the text By Appointment Her Majesty The Queen China Potters, Paragon, Fine Bone China, Made in England, Ltd. The pattern name Country Lane is printed in script to the left of the mark.
