A Collection of Vintage and Modern Gentlemen's Cufflinks, Dress Studs, and Tie Pins
Description
A large collection of gentlemen’s jewellery comprising an assortment of cufflinks, dress studs, and small pins. The lot includes pieces ranging from the mid-20th century through to contemporary designs. The items are constructed primarily from base metals with gilt and silver-tone finishes. Decorative techniques include engine-turning, enamelling, and the use of mother-of-pearl effect inserts, glass cabochons, and various stones. The collection features a variety of styles including Mid-Century Modern geometric patterns and novelty motifs such as vintage motorcars, an airplane, a cockerel, and a camel. A notable inclusion is a large rectangular decorative mount or pendant featuring an intricate blue and silver-tone radiating concentric circle design. Small marks are present on the reverse of several cufflink bars and findings, though these are not clearly legible. This lot reflects a typical British assortment of men’s accessories.
