Description
Attributed to Cameo Creation, this monochromatic portrait print, possibly a silver gelatin print, depicts a woman in profile with her gaze directed upwards. The image is presented in an oval format behind glass, housed within a decorative gilt metal slip featuring a repeating geometric border. This assembly is mounted onto a square black wooden plaque. The presentation is characteristic of mid-20th-century decorative portraiture. Faint, illegible characters are visible at the top edge of the image within the aperture. The wooden mount features two white adhesive inventory stickers with the handwritten notations 6182 and L06. No definitive maker marks or artist signatures are visible.
