UK 20th Century Coinage Sets, Cupro-Nickel, Bronze, and Brass
Description
A collection of United Kingdom numismatic sets housed in individual plastic presentation cases. The collection includes a Silver Jubilee 1952-1977 commemorative set containing a 25p crown and early decimal coinage; two 1967 Coinage of Great Britain pre-decimal sets; a combined Complete Decimal Issue and the last £.s.d. Issue set; a King George VI era set; and a Queen Elizabeth II pre-decimal set. The coins are struck in cupro-nickel, bronze, and brass alloys. Denominations include crowns, halfcrowns, florins, English and Scottish shillings, sixpences, brass and silver threepences, pennies, halfpennies, farthings, and various decimal pence. The cases are printed with descriptive titles and denomination labels. These sets were issued to commemorate the 1971 decimalisation and the 1977 Silver Jubilee.
