The lot includes a significant portion of prec1947 coinage, featuring silver-coloured denominations such as crowns, florins, shillings, and sixpences. Notable monarchs represented include Queen Victoria, with a silver crown bearing the inscription VICTORIA D: G: BRITT: REG: F: D:, and King George V, identified by the legend GEORGIVS V D G BR OMN REX F D IND IMP. The collection also contains several gilt or gold-coloured commemorative medals, including pieces dedicated to the Boulton & Watt engineering partnership, the 10 Shilling Banknote, and the £50 Banknote.
