A 20th-century adzed oak wall-mounted shelf
Description
A wall-mounted shelf or mantel piece of solid oak construction with a medium-brown polished finish. The rectangular shelf features a hand-tooled adzed or scalloped front edge with an undulating texture. The structure is supported by two integral rectangular brackets. A small white adhesive label is adhered to the front edge with indistinct characters. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible.
