Description
This lot consists of an assortment of household and decorative objects. The principal item is a circular lead crystal presentation bowl with a scalloped rim, decorated with a complex deep-cut geometric pattern featuring hobstar motifs, diamond cross-hatching, and vertical mitre-cut fluting. The bowl is housed in a brown-covered presentation case with a ruched cream fabric lining. The lot also includes a rectangular wooden storage box with internal vertical dividers and brass-finished hinges, and a woven wicker picnic hamper with a red plastic-wrapped handle. Additionally, there is a box containing wooden shoe lasts and a folding metal stool. No maker’s marks are visible on the crystal bowl; the design is in the style of mid-20th-century British manufacturers such as Webb Corbett or Stuart Crystal.
