A Collection of Leeds United Football Club Memorabilia, circa 1967-1972
Description
A collection of vintage association football memorabilia, primarily relating to Leeds United Football Club and dating from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. The archive includes an official Leeds United Football Club handbook for the 1967-68 season and a Billy Bremner souvenir testimonial programme featuring a red cover with stylized lettering. The collection contains several official matchday programmes, including Leeds United home fixtures and a Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest programme dated 1st May 1971. Newspaper ephemera includes a four-page Cup Final Sketch supplement and various contemporary clippings. A small circular metal commemorative item is included, housed in a plastic bag with a handwritten tag reading Leeds United FA Cup winners 1972. A large-format photograph or programme page depicting a player in a white kit bears a signature in blue ink, appearing to be that of Mick Jones. No formal certificates of authenticity are present for the signature.
