A Set of Brown Transfer-Printed Earthenware Dinner and Teaware in the Agatha Pattern
Description
A collection of earthenware dinner and teaware featuring monochrome brown transfer-printed decoration on a cream-coloured ground. The central scenes depict various landscapes and architectural views, including Buckingham Palace, London, as identified by the printed text within the decoration. The borders consist of repeating floral and scroll motifs. This service is in the Agatha pattern, attributed to the Pioneer Woman collection. The lot comprises several teacups, saucers, side plates, and larger plates. No manufacturer marks are visible on the bases; one cup is shown with a plain underside and a small adhesive label marked 3322. The set is designed in the traditional 19th-century British style.
