Description
An assortment of decorative items and tableware comprising ceramic and metal pieces. The ceramic components include various earthenware and porcelain items such as plates and saucers decorated with polychrome floral sprays, a copper lustre jug featuring floral relief decoration, and several transfer-printed pieces including cups and jugs in pink and blue palettes. Also present is a white bottle-form vase with reticulated or pierced-work decoration. The metalware includes a pewter tankard, a brass-toned handle or ladle, and a silver-tone metal toast rack. Decorative techniques observed across the collection include hand-painting, transfer-printing of landscape and floral motifs, and relief moulding.
