An Assortment of Silver and Silver-Toned Decorative Objects and Jewellery
Description
An assortment of personal effects and jewellery comprising various white metal and glass items. The collection includes two necklaces of spherical beads, one with an off-white and one with a dark grey lustre. Decorative objects include an ornate square picture frame featuring scrolling repoussé decoration in a white metal, and a magnifying glass with a decorative silver-toned handle. Glassware consists of several scent bottles with white metal collars and caps. Further items include a circular white metal trinket box with a blue fabric lining, a round wooden box with a pierced metal lid, and a folding knife with mother-of-pearl handle scales. The knife handle is inscribed with the numbers 1, 9, 2, 4 and illegible cursive script. The jewellery selection features a fine white metal wire choker terminating in stones that appear to be blue, a cross pendant set with faceted red stones, a plain white metal band ring, and a pair of blue leaf-shaped earrings. No hallmarks or purity stamps are visible on the metal components; items appear to be silver or silver-toned metal.
