The assembly includes two gilt metal and enamelled chains of office and various associated lodge jewels presented on a maroon textile backing. The upper chain is constructed from openwork circular and rectangular links featuring animal and scroll motifs, terminating in a shield-shaped pendant with a central relief of a stag’s head and the blue-enamelled letters PG. The lower chain consists of medallions depicting buffalo heads alternating with enamelled plaques, including a red-enamelled shield jewel inscribed King William the Fourth Lodge No 3414. The collection further includes various star and heart-shaped medals with enamelled decorations, some bearing the order’s motto Justice Philanthropy Truth and the initials R.A.O.B. Additional enamelled monograms present on the jewels include CP and MW. The items are constructed from gilt base metal with polychrome enamel accents.
