An oil on canvas painting depicting a traditional British rural harvest scene, executed in the 19th-century English landscape tradition. The composition features stooked hay ricks in a sunlit field, with a prominent mature tree to the left and a distant village spire set against a sky with heavy cloud formations. The work displays broad brushwork with visible impasto highlights in the white clouds. The painting is housed in a substantial, multi-tiered gilded frame. A small white inventory sticker with the digits 7627 is affixed to the right side of the frame. No signature or date is visible on the front of the work.
