Description
A varied collection of vintage dolls and miniatures, including a large composition baby doll with a five-piece jointed body and moulded, painted facial features. The lot features several storybook-style dolls, similar to Madame Alexander designs, crafted from hard plastic and vinyl with synthetic wigs and original costumes including a blue gingham dress and a lace gown. The collection includes a Norcross A Music Box Card made of red cardboard with a metal crank, a plastic hula doll, and two plush toys including a ladybug and a mohair-style animal. Eye mechanisms include a mix of painted and plastic sleep eyes. Height 5 inches to 11 inches.
Condition report:
The composition baby doll is in poor condition with heavy crazing and cracking to the head and limbs. The plastic and vinyl dolls are in generally good condition with minor wear to the original clothing and wigs. The plush items are well-worn with matted fur. The Norcross music box shows shelf wear and rubbing to the cardboard edges. All items are sold as-is.
