A contemporary Danish style knotty pine tall cupboard
Description
A late 20th-century tall and narrow cupboard in the Danish provincial style, constructed from solid knotty pine with a warm honey-coloured finish. The piece features a classic moulded cornice above a single full-length door, which is detailed with three raised and fielded panels. The door opens to reveal internal storage space, situated above a single full-width drawer at the base. The cupboard is fitted with simple turned wooden pull knobs and is supported by four turned bun feet. The construction utilises modern commercial techniques, reflecting the mass-produced pine furniture popularised by Scandinavian manufacturers during the 1990s. There are no visible maker’s marks or labels. Dimensions: 185cm x 55cm x 45cm.
Condition report:
The cupboard is in good structural condition with a consistent finish throughout. There is no evidence of significant wear, woodworm, or structural instability. Minor superficial scuffs and light scratches consistent with age and domestic use may be present upon close inspection. The drawer and door operate smoothly.
