Description
A collection of approximately ten contemporary collectible dolls, including one confirmed Seymour Mann creation with its original designer hangtag. The dolls feature bisque porcelain heads, lower arms, and lower legs attached to stuffed cloth armature bodies. Each doll is finished with fixed inset acrylic or glass eyes and applied synthetic eyelashes. The synthetic wigs are presented in various colours including blonde, brunette, and auburn, styled in ringlets, waves, and braids. The dolls are dressed in their original, elaborate multi-layered Victorian and Edwardian style costumes, featuring lace trimmings, satin ribbons, and coordinating headwear such as bonnets and floral ornaments. The lot includes one miniature doll in its original presentation box. Height 7 to 20 inches.
Condition report:
The collection is in excellent overall display condition. The porcelain heads and limbs show no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The stuffed cloth bodies are well-preserved. The synthetic wigs remain largely styled and well-maintained. The original clothing is clean and crisp, showing no significant staining or fading. One doll retains its original interior cardboard packaging.
