Unmarked Vintage Doll Parts and Restoration Lot, Composition and Bisque, Torso 11-12 Inches
Description
A mixed collection of vintage doll components for repair or restoration, including composition and bisque elements. The lot features a large composition baby head with blue glass sleep eyes and a bald pate, alongside a composition head with moulded and painted orange hair. Included is a small bisque-head doll with a light brown mohair wig and fixed eyes, partially dressed in a vintage striped cotton shirt and a cream-coloured lace or crocheted garment. The collection contains various composition limbs and a large torso. No maker marks are visible on the components. Torso height approximately 11-12 inches.
Condition report:
The lot is in as-found condition with significant wear throughout. Composition elements exhibit widespread crazing, cracking, and peeling of the surface lacquer. One composition head shell has a large structural hole at the base. The bisque head appears free of major cracks but is soiled. Clothing is aged and originality is unconfirmed. Sold as a source for parts or for professional restoration.
