Contemporary Country Style Knotty Pine Four-Drawer Chest
Description
This contemporary chest of drawers is executed in the traditional English country aesthetic, dating to the late 20th century. The piece is crafted from solid knotty pine, featuring a warm honey-toned finish that emphasises the prominent natural grain and characteristic knots throughout the timber. The carcase houses four stacked drawers of equal size, each detailed with bevelled edges and a single central turned wooden knob pull. The rectangular top is finished with rounded corners, and the chest is supported by four substantial turned bun feet. The construction reflects modern manufacturing standards with machine-cut joinery and solid wood components. No manufacturer labels or provenance marks are present. Condition report:
The chest is structurally sound and remains in good functional order.
