Unmarked, Set of Three Nodding-Head Figurines
Description
Produced by an unidentified factory, this lot consists of three separate nodding-head figurines. It includes a large, horizontally-oriented triple-figure group in stylised Orientalist dress with a central figure holding an open fan, a smaller single Orientalist figure, and a Victorian-style lady in a yellow floral dress with a green shawl. All pieces are slip-cast ceramic with internal wire and plaster weight mechanisms. No factory marks, model numbers, or signatures are present. Height 14 cm.
Condition report:
The large triple-figure group shows evidence of significant structural repair to the interior base with visible adhesive and stabilisation marks. There are small chips and kiln-related imperfections along the unglazed bottom edges. The Victorian-style lady is in generally good condition with a small chip noted on the bottom rim. The small Orientalist figure appears in good condition with minor shelf wear. All internal nodding mechanisms are functional.
