A George III Mahogany Drop-Leaf Dining Table
Description
A George III mahogany drop-leaf dining table. The piece features a rectangular panelled top with two side extensions. The apron is fitted with a single shallow drawer. The table is raised on four square, tapered legs with moulded detailing, each terminating in a small caster. The table displays a two-tone stained finish, with a darker brown surface on the top and a warmer, reddish-brown tone on the base and legs.
Condition report:
The table is in fair condition. There is visible surface wear, including scratches and scuffs to the legs and edges consistent with age and use. There are some minor losses to the finish and variations in colour between the top and the base.
