Description
A collection of seven late 20th-century decorative dolls, typical of mass-produced series by makers such as Heritage Mint, Collector’s Choice, or Geppeddo. Each doll features a bisque porcelain head and hands with a soft-filled cloth body. Maker marks are not visible but are typically located on the back of the neck. Features include fixed inset acrylic eyes with applied eyelashes and synthetic fibre wigs in various shades of blonde and auburn. The dolls are dressed in their original, elaborate multi-layered period-style costumes, including Victorian lace dresses, plaid ensembles, and a winter-themed velvet-style coat with faux-fur trim. One doll is accompanied by a small plush bear. Height 10 to 14 inches.
Condition report:
Heads and hands appear in excellent condition with no visible cracks, chips, or repairs. Cloth bodies are sound. Wigs are well-preserved. Clothing is original and remains in good order with no significant fading or tearing. Minor surface dust present from display.
