A Collection of Mauchline Ware and Decorative Wooden Items
Description
A collection of Mauchline Ware and associated decorative wooden objects crafted from light-coloured wood, including sycamore. The group features various items decorated with black transfer-printed topographical scenes, with visible titles including The Needles, Isle of Wight and Falls of Clyde. The assortment comprises two small wooden-cased clocks, several lidded and open boxes, turned vessels, a barrel-form container, and cylindrical tubes. One rectangular box displays intricate geometric parquetry inlay, and another item features a transfer-printed crest. These items are characteristic of the souvenir ware produced in Mauchline, Scotland.

Condition report:
The collection is in fair to good antique condition. Items show age-appropriate surface wear, including minor scuffs, scratches, and some fading to the transfer-printed decorations. The parquetry box shows minor surface abrasions and small losses to the inlay. The clock mechanisms are untested.
