Sitzendorf, Goebel, and Coalport Style Collection of Figurines and Floral Encrustations
Description
A diverse collection of ceramic and porcelain decorative objects. The lot includes a large glazed ceramic figurine of a seated lady in an elaborate textured gown, a matte white bisque porcelain group of a putto with a reclining animal in the Sitzendorf style, and two traditional Goebel Hummel-style figures including a girl with geese and a boy with a basket. Also featured is a bisque porcelain grouping of four children on a rustic bench, a whimsical singerie-style monkey musician, and a rabbit wearing a mushroom hat. The collection is completed by approximately five floral encrustations in the style of Coalport or Royal Adderley, featuring various colourful blossoms. No factory marks are visible to the exterior. Height approx. 30cm.
Condition report:
All items in this lot are in need of restoration and have some damages. There are visible chips and losses to the delicate petals and leaves of the floral arrangements. The bisque porcelain figures show surface dust and minor discolouration. Minor fleabites and small chips may be present on high-relief details of the whimsical figures. Sold as seen.
