The lot also contains a Dutch blue and white glazed earthenware service consisting of a pitcher and three cups, decorated with traditional scenes and inscribed with regional names including Friesland and Scheveningen, marked Opgericht Amsterdam. Complementing the ceramics is a small rectangular Persian Khatam-kari box with fine geometric micro-mosaic marquetry inlay, a white-glazed ceramic religious figurine, and a carved light-coloured figure of an Eastern deity or monk. Largest bowl diameter approx. 32 cm; vase height approx. 26 cm; box length approx. 12 cm.
Condition report:
The collection is in good overall condition. Minor surface wear and light abrasions consistent with age and handling are present throughout. There are some small chips or nibbles to the rims of the earthenware bowls and the blue and white cups. The Khatam box shows very minor losses to the delicate micro-mosaic inlay. No visible signs of major cracks, hairlines, or professional restoration were noted during inspection.
