Yellow Metal and Graduated Red Branch Coral Necklace
Description
A single-strand necklace featuring graduated elements of what appears to be natural red branch coral, interspersed with smaller tumbled coral beads. The coral displays a vibrant orange-red colour characteristic of Mediterranean specimens. The piece is strung on a red cord and is secured by a yellow metal spring ring clasp and jump ring. No hallmarks or purity stamps are visible on the metalwork, which remains untested. The necklace is accompanied by a paper tag inscribed 6182 coral Necklace. The design is typical of mid-20th-century coral jewellery. Weight and measurements are not available.
