Description
This diverse collection is headlined by a contemporary lead crystal decanter by Edinburgh International, featuring a hand-etched botanical motif in the manner of Healy Glass Artistry. The decanter is of a waisted form with a matching circular stopper and is housed in its original blue satin-lined presentation box. Accompanying the decanter is a selection of twentieth-century art glass, including a tall blown-glass vase with a clear-to-green colour gradient and a ruffled rim, a pair of frosted peach-coloured vases in a stylised lily form, and a small emerald green glass bowl embellished with gilt-painted floral and star motifs. The lot also features a teardrop-shaped studio glass vessel with internal blue and green swirling inclusions and an iridescent finish. The decanter represents modern Celtic-inspired glasswork, while the accompanying pieces offer a variety of mid-to-late twentieth-century glassmaking techniques including blowing, frosting, and gilding. Decanter box measures approximately 32cm in length.
