Description
A traditional Russian-style samovar of classic urn-shaped form, constructed from polished nickel-plated metal. The vessel features a flared, four-footed base supporting the main body, which is fitted with a functional front-facing spigot and decorative tap handle. The piece is equipped with twin side handles and lid knobs crafted from dark wood or composite material. The removable lid is surmounted by a vented chimney crown designed to hold a teapot. While no maker’s marks are visible, the construction and finish are characteristic of mid-20th century production. Height: approximately 18 inches.
Condition report:
The samovar is in good overall condition, displaying minor surface tarnishing and light wear consistent with age and use. The plating remains largely intact with some light scuffing. All handles and knobs are present and secure.
