Raine Just The Right Shoe and Vintage Porcelain Miniature Collection, Mid-20th Century
Description
A diverse assortment of miniature decorative collectibles featuring three porcelain shoes, including a cobalt blue stiletto with white textured jewelled accents, a black Mary Jane, and a tan Victorian-style laced boot. The lot further comprises a vintage blonde-haired doll with a vinyl body and rooted hair, a ceramic figurine of a rabbit beside a cracked egg on a pale blue base, and two small white ceramic animal-themed carriages. These pieces are characteristic of mid-century miniature displays and designer footwear collections such as the Just The Right Shoe series by Raine. The items are constructed from glazed porcelain, ceramic, and moulded plastic. Measurements: Largest shoe approximately 10 cm in length; doll approximately 12 cm in length.
Condition report:
The items exhibit signs of age-related wear and surface dust. A small dark mark is present on the doll\'s leg. The porcelain pieces appear generally intact, though minor surface abrasions may be present consistent with age. The red plastic display tray is not included in the sale.
