Giuseppe Armani Figural Table Lamp, Japanese Geisha Style, Beaded Fringe Shade
Description
A fine figural table lamp by the renowned Italian artist Giuseppe Armani. The piece features a detailed figurine of a woman in traditional Japanese attire, standing upon an integral pedestal. The figurine is mounted to a tiered circular wooden base which bears a gold-toned G. Armani plaque. The lamp is constructed with a brass-toned metal stem and is topped with a brown fabric cylindrical shade, embellished with a decorative teardrop beaded fringe at the lower edge. The figurine is further authenticated by a signature on the integral base. Dimensions: Height approximately 55 cm (21.5 inches).
Condition report:
The lamp appears to be in good vintage condition with no apparent chips or repairs to the figurine or wooden base. The fabric shade shows some minor accumulation of dust but remains structurally sound. The electrical cord and two-prong plug are present; however, the electrical status is untested and the item is sold as a decorative object. Professional rewiring is recommended for use.
