Description
A collection of three vintage mid-20th-century powder compacts. Includes a circular gold-tone model with a flamingo pictorial finish and engine-turned reverse; an octagonal gold-tone model with turquoise-blue guilloché enamel in a sunray pattern; and a circular gold-tone model with a multi-coloured floral and foliate enamel design. Features include iridescent finishes, engine-turned metalwork, and protective fabric pouches.
Condition report:
Flamingo compact shows minor surface scratches and slight patina to edges. Guilloché compact enamel is intact with no chips; light oxidation to the metal rim. Floral compact shows minimal wear to gilding with crisp decoration. All hinges and closures are in functional order.
