Description
A comprehensive collection of Poole Pottery ceramic tableware from the celebrated Twintone range, specifically the Mushroom and Sepia (C54) colourway. This mid-century modern set features a characteristic matte glaze in a two-tone palette of off-white and soft mushroom brown. The assembly includes dinner plates, side plates, dessert bowls, teacups, a lidded sugar bowl, and a cream jug or pitcher. Each piece is marked to the underside with the printed POOLE ENGLAND maker’s mark featuring the dolphin logo. This range, originally designed by John Adams, represents a pinnacle of British mid-century ceramic design, favoured for its durability and minimalist aesthetic. Largest plate diameter approximately 25cm.
Condition report:
