Various Makers, Mixed Porcelain Figurines and Miniature Trinket Boxes
Description
A collection of approximately 20 miniature decorative items, primarily crafted from glazed porcelain and ceramic. The assortment features two ballerina figurines, including one with intricate lace-work detailing in the Dresden style, and two figures of elegant ladies in flowing blue gowns. Other subjects include a Dutch girl creamer in traditional dress, a boy holding a flower, and a small group of three children seated on a log. Animal figurines comprise a spaniel with a flower basket, a sheep, and a polar bear surmounting a trinket box. The lot is completed by several egg-shaped and rectangular trinket boxes with floral and landscape designs, a miniature ornate floral teapot, a hand-painted bowl with a butterfly motif, a cobalt blue decorative shoe, and a floral orb. No factory marks are clearly visible to the exterior surfaces. Various heights up to 12cm.
Condition report:
The items are in fair to good condition overall. There are minor losses to the delicate porcelain lace on the ballerina figurine. Some pieces show light wear to the gilded edges and painted decoration consistent with age. No major structural damage or significant repairs are apparent.
