A Laurel Crown Furniture Victorian Style Mahogany Hall Tree
Description
A late 20th century mahogany hall tree in the Victorian style, attributed to Laurel Crown Furniture. The upper section features a central inset bevelled mirror within a moulded frame, flanked by four metal hooks. The back panel is decorated with a pierced fanned splat featuring a diamond motif. The lower portion consists of a two-drawer cabinet with circular brass-tone pulls, situated above an open lower shelf. The piece is supported by fluted side rails and finished with small finials. A white inventory tag is present on the central splat.
Condition report:
The item is in good overall condition. There is minor surface wear and light scratching consistent with age and domestic use. No major structural defects or previous restorations are evident.
