A selection of vintage children’s books primarily from the mid-20th century and published in the United Kingdom. The collection includes various landscape-format pocket books such as Enid Blyton’s Mary Mouse series, the Sammy the Shunter series by Neville Main, Honk and Tonk by Joy K. Seddon, and The Twins series by H.L. Gee. Also included is a group of upright paperbacks by Enid Blyton featuring titles from the Famous Five and Secret Seven series published by Award. The books are composed of illustrated cardboard or stiff paper covers with paper pages. Several of the small-format editions feature original 1/- net price markings on the front covers.
