Antique Japanese Meiji Satsuma Celadon Ceramic Vase/lamp
Description
An antique Japanese Meiji period Satsuma celadon ceramic vase. This molded vessel features an irregular, textured body finished in a pale green glaze. The exterior is decorated with applied high-relief floral and foliate motifs rendered in pink, white, and green enamels, complemented by hand-painted accents in brownish-red. A circular black aperture or insert is located on the lower side of the body. The unglazed base bears an impressed character seal mark within a circular cartouche.
