A Mid-20th Century Plush Koala Toy
Description
This mid-20th-century plush koala toy is constructed with tan and cream synthetic fur. The figure features orange-toned plastic eyes and a large black plastic nose. A pale green satin ribbon is tied around the neck. A handwritten paper tag is pinned to the chest, which reads: KOALA AUSSIE WON IN EVE POST COLOURING COMPETITION 1966/67 282/6. This marking provides a specific provenance from the late 1960s.
