A Large Segmented Art Deco Style Wall Mirror
Description
A large segmented wall mirror executed in the Art Deco style, consistent with mid-20th century Venetian influence. The complex shape features continuous scalloped and ogee curves along the upper edge. The mirror is constructed from five vertical panels of mirrored glass. The segmentation consists of two wide clear central panels, flanked by two wide panels finished with a copper or bronze tint (sometimes referred to as peach glass) and decorated with stylized, etched scroll or floral motifs. These tinted panels are bordered by two narrow clear edge panels. A thin, copper-toned metal strip is affixed along the bottom edge of the assembly. No specific maker’s marks or inscriptions are visible.
